My first experience with hypnosis unfolded 19 years ago when I set out to improve my billiards game with what was, at that time, the almost entirely untapped power of my subconscious mind.
The results were, in fact – and I’m not going to mince words here – nothing short of thrilling as hypnosis improved both my focus and my confidence, enabling me to “play my best” even under the pressure of being watched by a crowd.

Years later, in 2005, I gave birth to my son, Easton (right), using hypnosis as my only pain resource.
That might not mean much to the guys out there.
But women who have given birth under difficult circumstances know the pain can be excruciating, so much so that doctors often recommend dangerous drugs and medical procedures even when they put mother and child at risk.
Hypnosis gave me the strength to endure without those drugs. Impressive? Yes, indeed. But my personal experiences with hypnotism don’t stop there.
I also have learned first-hand how hypnosis can relieve emotional pain, no matter how crushing, debilitating and severe.
Not long after experiencing the joy of bringing a beautiful child into the world, I found myself in the middle of painful and emotionally exhausting divorce.
I reached for a tool I knew would help me cope and keep up the strength I needed to raise an child alone: Hypnosis.
Bolstered and supported by my own hypnotherapist, I pursued an education in hypnotherapy with the highly-regarded Hypnosis Motivation Institute and began my practice at Alachua Integrative Medicine.
Today, I am thankful and grateful to be able to help others in their quest to live a more joyful life.
P.S. I am dedicated to the care of single mothers. . In my view, it really does “take a village” to help each and every one of us lead happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives. Please reach out to single mothers and everyone you meet.
