Just for fun, try a little “self-hypnosis lite” at home.

- Pick one or two things you enjoy and focus them for a few days.

- Pay close attention to a beautiful sunset, for example, or to the birds chattering and singing in your back yard.

- The warm and happy feelings you experience will start to carry you through your days with a spontaneous smile on your face.

- Full-blown hypnosis works the same way, helping you extend the joy of living through everything you think, say, do and see, not just on the occasion of a glorious sunset, but all the time.
